Service Bulletin & PDWA: Saskatoon Potable Water Supply East System, January 4 2017

    December 30, 2016

Attention:  Saskatoon Potable Water Supply East System Customers (SAPO-East)

An emergency leak repair has been scheduled for the SaskWater SAPO-East system that will result in a temporary reduction in service pressure and/or a service disruption for the majority of SaskWater customers located southeast of Saskatoon.

The repair work and associated PDWA have been scheduled for:

    Wednesday, January 4th at 9:00am

As the repair work will require a complete pipeline depressurization, a Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory (PDWA) has been issued by the Water Security Agency. This PDWA will remain in effect until the follow-up sampling protocol has been completed confirming that the quality of the water was not been adversely affected during the repair work. SaskWater will once again notify its customers when the PDWA on the SaskWater line is lifted.

SaskWater apologizes for any inconvenience that this work may cause. Any questions regarding the repair work should be directed to SaskWater’s Customer Services at 1-888-230-1111 (select 2) during regular business hours. (M-F 8am to 5pm)
