Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory - Village of Meota

    March 13, 2017

    Attention:       Village of Meota Residents

Due to a distribution pump failure that resulted in depressurization of the Village of Meota distribution system, the Water Security Agency has issued a Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory (PDWA) on the distribution system serving the Village of Meota.

The Water Security Agency has advised that this PDWA will remain in effect until the required follow-up sampling protocol has been completed ensuring that the quality of the water in the distribution system was not adversely affected as a result of the depressurization.

SaskWater performs Certified Operation and Maintenance Services for the Jackfish Lake West Water Utility Company.

The associated PDWA can be viewed here.

Any questions regarding this PDWA can be directed to the Village of Meota or
